T150 Air Show

Well, when Townsville puts on a Show they put on a show.

Last Saturday saw the T150 Air Show along the Strand.

And the people of Townsville came out to see the show.

First there was the Freedom of Entry Parade along the Strand.

Then the roar of the first plane as it flew overhead took as all by surprise.

Now to be honest with you, I decided to go down on Saturday as a few photographers were meeting to take photos and this would be a good learning experience.

The last thing I expected was to enjoy it but I loved it.

As each plane took its turn to show off, it was great fun.

There were new ones, old ones.

Slow ones, Fast ones.

Helicopters that went backwards. Planes that went upside down.

Then to finish off there was the Roulettes.

Just when you thought it could not get any better they did their stuff.

The Strand was full of people and noise.

It was a great vibe, with performers along the Strand entertaining the crowds all day.

Then to finish off at night there was the Townsville Bulletin Sky Show fireworks display.

All in all  a great day down on the Strand in Townsville enjoying good company and great entertainment.
